Closing this PR ahead of the v0.1.0 final tag.

We are not merging dependency updates in the final week of the v0.1.0 cycle to keep the tag-cut clean — major-version bumps in particular (axum 0.8, notify 8.x, sha2 0.11) need integration work that we will land in v0.1.x.

Dependabot will re-create this PR on the next scheduled run. We will triage post-launch.
